The ellacor® System uses hollow needles to remove these tiny portions of skin without scarring. Unlike other types of popular cosmetic therapies, ellacor doesn’t use laser, ultrasound or other thermal technologies. And while microneedling creates small injuries in the skin to displace skin and stimulate new cell growth, ellacor is the first treatment option to safely remove skin on the microscale.

Every patient’s needs differ so you will need a consultation to create the right treatment plan for you. In the clinical trial, most patients saw results with a series of 3 treatments spaced 30 days apart. Treatments typically last 30 minutes or less and there’s no surgical downtime. The majority of patients in the clinical trial returned to work within 3 days, but the healing process is unique to each person.

During treatments, you’ll be given appropriate anesthesia to numb the area before the procedure. Most ellacor patients report minimal discomfort or pain.
