Founded in 1949, we are a thriving private dermatology practice with 23 providers and 4 clinic locations in the East Metro.

 

The CEO is responsible for the management, direction, and coordination of all medical practice operations (except those involving the practice of medicine) for the purpose of attaining the goals and objectives set forth by the Physician Board of Directors.

 

Essential Duties:

  1. Strategic and Organization Management
    • Ensures high levels of patient satisfaction and quality of care and safety
    • Recommends administrative and clinical operations policy positions
    • Identifies, implements and communicates annual strategic goals and projects
    • Identifies and promotes growth opportunities
  2. Governance
    • Facilitates Board of Director meetings in conjunction with physician leadership
    • Facilitates committee activities in conjunction with Chairs and administrative staff
    • Provides the Board with information, advice and assistance in the governance of the organization
  3. Financial, Administrative and Human Resources Leadership
    • Works with the Finance Director to develop an annual capital and operating budget
    • Provides leadership in the management of practice expenses including supplies, staffing, technology and facilities.
    • Negotiates contracts with external vendors and business partners
    • Participates as a member of the Independent Practice Association (IPA) board
    • Assumes overall responsibility for the conduct, performance, and results of the nonphysician clinical and administrative support staff in providing the highest quality patient care at a reasonable cost.
    • Provides direct supervision to the members of the management team
    • Provides strategic leadership in human resources planning
  1. Marketing & Community Outreach
    • Represents the practice in its relationships with other healthcare organizations and government agencies
    • Analyzes the market and recommends business opportunities to the Board
    • Manages the organization’s marketing function including the marketing firm
  2. Compliance
    • Serves as the HIPAA Privacy & Security Officer
    • Serves as principal liaison with the organization’s legal firm and medical malpractice insurance carrier.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, accounting or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of practice/medical administration experience.
  • Experience in clinic administration essential.
  • Expertise in clinic financial management.
  • Ability to create a strategic vision, define goals & objectives and influence & drive results
  • Experience in leading and building teams
  • Ability to develop relationships with providers, staff and business & community partners
  • High integrity
  • Excellent verbal, written & presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Master’s degree in health/business administration preferred.
  • CMPE or FACHE desired

Pay Range:

The base pay range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000 per year. Eligible for a performance-based bonus. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
