MOHS Surgery

Mohs surgery is a technique for precesely removing skin cancers; it is named after its founder Dr. Fedric Mohs. It is mainly perfomed on certain basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell-containing skin are progressively removed and examined by the surgeon under the microscrope until all the cancer is gone/ Once the cancer is removed, the area is typically repaired with stitches.

When performed by an experienced surgeon, Mohs surgery offers the highest cancer cure rate while minizing removal of the surrounding healthy tissue.
