BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Lydia Luu is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon with advanced fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology. Outside of medicine, Dr. Luu enjoys volleyball, basketball, weightlifting, hiking, and playing Hanabi.

Dr. Luu has a strong background in clinical research, medical education, and innovation. Her scholarly work includes numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations in dermatology and dermatologic surgery. She is also a co-inventor on two U.S. patents and has served as a mentor to medical students and biomedical engineering students.
Teaching & MENTORSHIP
Dr. Luu has taught dermatology residents, internal medicine residents, medical students, and other trainees through lectures, workshops, journal clubs, and hands-on suturing instruction. She has also served as a mentor for medical students and biomedical engineering students at the University of Virginia.
